Early Years Grants

All children from the term after their third birthday will receive the Early Years Grant.

The Grant is calculated over three terms, Summer (April - August), Autumn (September - December) and Spring Term (January - March), totalling 38 weeks of the year.

Every parent can claim 5 sessions a week at £8.00 per session (from April 2006). This equates to £520 per term in Summer and Autumn and £480 in the Spring term or £1,520 over the three terms. All payments are paid directly to the Nursery as we are a Registered Provider and are refunded by BACS directly to you. We are contracted by Early Years to refund this way and not amend your standing orders accordingly as this is their preferred method of audit.

Nursery will notify you prior to your child’s 3rd birthday and we will provide you with all appropriate forms to claim this benefit.
