We chose Kalgarth Grange for a number of reasons. The staff are very approachable and always make time to discuss any issues or concerns I might have. Even the more junior/less experienced staff seem to genuinely care about the welfare of the children. The staff turnover seems quite low, which I feel is important to give the children security and continuity, but also for me as a parent, to have a piece of mind that staff know my child as an individual.
The management team are very accessible and are open to ideas and suggestions. Two of mine have been taken up!
Children are engaged in a wide variety of different activities and encouraged to participate but never forced to.
My child noticeably improved language skills within a few weeks of joining the Early Learners, and now tells us about her day over dinner, which is great.
The size of the rooms are larger than most, and we felt that our child would have freedom to express herself and not be too restricted.

When I first visited Kalgarth Grange I could feel a positive, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff really enjoy their jobs and take pride in what they do. They make each child and parent feel like individuals. The setting is inspiring and really supports the children’s growth and enjoyment of the nursery.

My two children have attended Kalgarth Grange for 18 months. I like the spacious accommodation and the outdoor play areas, both being very well equipped. The meals/snacks provided are nutritious and best of all my children eat everything whilst at nursery.
All members of staff/management team are friendly and professional.
My children enjoy going to nursery and are very happy being left in this environment, which is reassuring whilst I am at work.
I would have no hesitations in recommending Kalgarth Grange Nursery school.

Our daughter started at Kalgarth Grange 8 months ago and enjoys every day. She has developed and become a lot more confident. She skips into nursery in the morning and is not always happy that I disrupt her fun at home time.
As a whole, the nursery has a homely feel where all the staff are warm and friendly. There is a traditional feel where everything is commemorated. The children sent 80 hand prints to the Queen on her recent birthday, everyone dressed in red and white for St Georges day and they all wore football kits for the World Cup day. In a few weeks there is a sports day coming up for children, staff and parents!
It is a hands on nursery with lots of activities. The staff are very involved, enthusiastic and genuinely care about the children.
There is even a pet rabbit ‘Gismo’ who my daughter loves and regularly talks about at home.
All in all, we couldn’t wish for a better environment for my daughter to spend at nursery.

I think, as a parent, feeling comfortable with the nursery is so important.
If I feel comfortable with the staff who are looking after Nathan, I don’t worry about him. I know my child and I know that he loves being at nursery.
Being at Kalgarth has brought Nathan on leaps and bounds. When I first went back to work after having Nathan I felt guilty that I was depriving him by not being with him, now I know that because I went back to work I gave Nathan his independence, confidence and most importantly his friends. When our second baby starts at Kalgarth in the New Year, I won’t be feeling guilty.
