As a company we are committed to providing only the best Childcare Practitioners to care and nurture your children and assist in their development. To ensure that our high levels are maintained throughout the Group we have a Nursery Manager based at each site as well as a:

  • Group Training and Operations Manager
  • Group Early Years Teacher
  • Building & Maintenance Manager

    Kerry Eccles - Group Training and Operations Manager

    Kerry Eccles

    I have been working in the childcare sector for 10 years.

    I hold a BTEC Diploma in Childhood Studies and have just completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Management as well as an NVQ in the Early Years Foundation Stage and once I have completed this I am looking forward to beginning my degree in Business Management. Additionally to this I have attended numerous training courses in a wide variety of areas which assist me in my Group Training role.

    I have vast experience of working with all age groups and have worked through a variety of roles that have provided me with lots of experience and knowledge. My role involves me working throughout the group and providing the team with training opportunities via meetings, memos etc as well as assisting the managers and supporting them in carrying out their daily duties. My operations role generally involves me overseeing the operational side of the nursery and ensuring that our high standards of care are well maintained.

    Louise Gabriel - Group Early Years Teacher

    Whilst undertaking my BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies at Mid Cheshire College I worked part time as a Nursery Assistant at Mere Day Nursery gaining my first hand knowledge of child development.

    After gaining my qualification in June 1998 I began working full time at a Private Day Nursery as a Nursery Nurse. In September 2000 I was promoted to Senior Nursery Nurse in the Pre-School room where I had to plan the curriculum and activities and work with the local Early Years Partnership which included undertaking further training to fulfil my role. During my time there I undertook the role as Special Educational Needs co-ordinator and have completed training within this area.

    I joined The Stables Nursery School in March 2002 employed as the Deputy Manager and also the Head of the Pre School Room. In December 2003 I was promoted to Nursery Manager and also successfully completed my NVQ level 4 in Early Years and Management. I am currently employed at The Stables Nursery School as Early Years Group Co-ordinator.

    I also hold certificates in First Aid, Child Protection, Behaviour Management, Birth to Three and SENCO.

    Stephen Evans - Building and Maintenance Manager

    I have worked within the family businesses for the past 34 years initially at Eleberts Pestforce before in 2007 coming to work for Kids Academy. Having a large family of my own I have lots of experience with children and have thoroughly enjoyed my new role within the settings as since they opened in January 2004 I have been involved part time and now that I am full time each day brings along a new challenge. I have a CRB enhanced disclosure and also hold my first aid certificate.
